Wesst Consulting is committed to community upliftment through the implementation of sustainable development programs. Our vision is to help improve the quality of life in poverty driven communities through active participation and skills development.

The Vastfontein community project is situated in Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria and was initiated by the “Foundation for Farming” movement. To date more than 80 micro-farmers, of which 32 are women, were successfully trained and empowered. Wesst Consulting assisted in the development of a sustainable groundwater resource aiding in the establishment of vegetable gardens and small-scale farming units.

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility program, Wesst Consulting was also involved in providing technical advice with regards to groundwater resource exploration for the “Farm for Africa” project in Northern- Mozambique.
